I registered for spring classes today. It only took me about 2 hours. Due to some prerequisite issues I had to see an adviser in order to get registered. I will be taking 3 classes this semester; Advertising, Digital Type and Color and 3D Animation. It should be an exciting Semester. I will keep you posted.

Corel Painter has many features. A new feature we learned about in class is mosaic tile.
I had fun with this assignment. Corel Painter has so many great tools that can replicate natural mediums like, pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, oil paint, acrylic, etc.
One of my classes this fall was "Creative Computer Media". It required us to use Corel Painter for our assignments. The first assignment was to draw basic shapes and fill with color. I guess I got a little carried away learning to use the different brushes and media. With some practice I think I could really enjoy working in Painter. No messy paints to clean up but you still get that painter quality and texture. Let me know what you think.
Classes have begun! My first assignment was to do a portrait in colored pencil using Corel painter. One of the specs of the assignment was to use lines following the contours of the shapes. We were told they would turn out somewhat werewolf looking. This was my first time using Corel Painter.
These illustrations were part of an assignment for my Videography class at BCC. We needed to use vector illustrations so that we could make the image appear to change size without losing any quality. I need to make some changes to the shadow of the skateboard. I originally had a white background so the shadow made more sense but the black background makes the wheels pop and they fade away on a white background.
Last week my children started school. I have children in daycare, Elementary, Middle and High School this year and I am attending Brevard Community College. So far I have been managing to get everyone to school on time which as you can imagine is no small feat.
Homework has been keeping us all busy. The children like their new teachers and I have been enjoying my time this week at BCC. There are some great teachers out there and I am grateful that we are all fortunate enough to have some of the good ones. I am looking forward to all the new things I am learning especially the math prep class I am taking. I might actually be able to help my kids with their homework. Life is funny. Well I finally have my website back up and running. I thought it would be a good idea since I am going back to school in a month. If you happen to be reading this and have attended any Graphics programs at BCC leave a comment. Who are the best/worst instructors and why? Do you have any tips?
